We would rather you understand this page than skim past it, so we have kept it short and plain. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this website to turn a TikTok link into an audio file. If anything here is unclear, the contact page is the fastest way to reach us.
The short version
You do not need an account, a username or a password to use the converter. We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising profiles on you. We collect the small amount of technical information a download tool needs to work, to stay online and to block abuse. That is it.

What we collect
The TikTok link you paste. To make the audio file we have to look at the link, so we receive it. We store it together with the result of the conversion (worked, failed, or blocked) so we can see which kinds of links break and fix them. We also keep the title, author name and thumbnail address that TikTok publishes for that video, because the result card shows them.
A scrambled version of your IP address. Every request reaches us with an IP address. We run it through a one-way hash combined with a secret key that only the server knows, and we store the result, not the address itself. We use it to count unique visitors, to apply rate limits (so one person cannot flood the service) and to spot automated abuse. A hash cannot be turned back into your address by us or by anyone who reads our database.
Basic device information. We note a rough device type (phone, tablet or desktop) and operating system from your browser's user agent, plus which page you were on when you pressed convert. This tells us, for example, that a certain Android browser is failing, which is the kind of problem we want to know about.
Where you came from. If you arrived from a search engine or another site, we record the referring website name and any campaign tags in the link. We do not record your search words.
Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address and message so we can answer you. We use them for that and nothing else.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your TikTok login. We do not read your TikTok account, followers or private videos. We do not use fingerprinting scripts. We do not keep the audio files themselves: the file is streamed to your device, and we keep only a short-lived reference to it for up to 24 hours so that a download link does not break halfway through.
Why we use it
- To deliver the audio you asked for.
- To keep the service reliable, fast and free from abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages help people and which do not.
- To answer your messages.
We process this information because it is necessary to run the service you requested and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping it secure. Where the law requires your consent for something, we ask for it.
Cookies and local storage
The public site does not set tracking cookies. Your browser may store two small items locally: one remembers whether you chose dark mode, and one remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice. Our Cookie Policy lists everything in detail, including what changes if the site owner switches on a bot-protection widget.
Who else sees your information
We rely on a few outside parties to run the site, and they may process data on our behalf: our hosting provider, which stores the database and serves the pages, and, if enabled, a bot-protection service such as Cloudflare Turnstile that checks you are a person. The thumbnail on a result card is loaded straight from TikTok's servers, so TikTok can see that your browser requested it. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we only disclose it if the law forces us to or to protect the service from serious abuse.
How long we keep things
Conversion logs and visit statistics are kept for a limited time so we can spot trends and fix bugs, and are deleted or anonymised once they stop being useful. Contact messages are kept until we have dealt with your request and for a reasonable period afterward in case you write back. Download references expire within a day.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to some processing, or to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we store a hash rather than your address, we usually cannot find a specific visitor in our data, but we will gladly look for anything you send us by email, such as a contact message. Write to us through the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us details, tell us and we will delete them.
Security
Our pages are served over HTTPS, the admin area is protected by rate limits and sign-in checks, and passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise otherwise, but we treat the little data we hold with care.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date below. Small wording fixes will not get a notice, but meaningful changes will be easy to spot here.
This policy was last reviewed in November 2026.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use the converter?
No. There is no sign-up, login or password. You paste a link and download the file.
Do you keep the audio files I download?
No. The audio is streamed to your device. We only keep a short-lived download reference, which expires within about a day.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Can you tell who I am from my IP address?
We do not store your IP address. We store a one-way hash of it that we use for counting visitors and rate limiting, and it cannot be reversed.
