This site started with a small, slightly embarrassing problem. A friend heard a sound in a TikTok, wanted it as a ringtone, and spent forty minutes clicking through download sites that were mostly pop-ups. Half of them wanted a "free" signup. One tried to install a browser extension. She gave up and recorded her phone speaker instead, which sounded exactly as bad as you imagine.
We figured a tool that does one job, turning a TikTok link into an MP3, should not be that hard to build or that annoying to use. So we built it.

What we do
You paste the link of a public TikTok video. We fetch the audio from it and hand you an MP3. There is no account, no app, no extension and no payment. The TikTok to MP3 converter is the heart of the site, and everything else here exists to help you use it well.
We care about a short list of things:
- It should be quick. Most conversions finish in a few seconds.
- It should be clean. Few ads, no tricks, no dark patterns, no fake download buttons.
- It should be honest. We tell you what works and what does not, even when the honest answer is less exciting than a sales line.
- It should respect your data. We keep very little, and the Privacy Policy says exactly what.
What it can and cannot do
We would rather set expectations now than disappoint you later.
The tool takes the audio track of a public TikTok video and gives it to you as an MP3. It does not make WAV files, it does not upscale quality beyond what TikTok itself serves, and it does not download private videos, videos from private accounts, or anything behind a login. When a creator deletes a video or turns it private, the link stops working, and there is nothing we can do about it.
Quality is the other thing worth knowing. TikTok compresses its audio, so an MP3 from a TikTok clip will sound like a TikTok clip: fine on a phone speaker or earbuds, noticeably thinner next to a studio recording. If you need the original song, the artist's official release is almost always better.
How we think about creators
Behind every sound is a person who recorded, edited or composed it, and often a musician and a label whose work is playing in the background. We think that matters. Our Terms of Use ask you to use downloads for personal listening, for your own material or for sounds you have permission to reuse, and not to repost other people's work as yours. We also run a clear Copyright and DMCA process so owners can reach us fast if something is being misused.
We are not lawyers, and nothing on this site is legal advice. If you plan to publish or sell something built on a sound, check the licence first. It takes two minutes and can save you a takedown, or worse.
Who is behind this
We are a small independent team of developers and writers who happen to use short video apps a lot. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance. The site is built on our own software, tuned for fast pages on ordinary phones, because that is where most people use it.
We write the guides on this site ourselves. When a tool changes or a method stops working, we update the guide instead of leaving stale advice up, and we try to say plainly when we are unsure. If you spot something wrong, tell us.
How the site stays running
Servers cost money. At the moment the site is kept going by modest, clearly labelled advertising and by the owners' own pockets. We do not sell personal data, and we will not put a paywall in front of the basic converter.
Ways to use the site
- New here? Start with the TikTok to MP3 converter and paste a link.
- Care about clean files? Read how the no watermark option works for audio.
- Have a whole video you want as sound? See video to audio.
- Prefer Indonesian? The whole site has a Bahasa Indonesia version.
Talk to us
We read every message. Bug reports, broken links, ideas for guides, copyright concerns and plain old hellos are all welcome through the contact page. We usually reply within two or three working days, and a clear example link makes fixing things much faster.
Thanks for stopping by. We hope it saves you the forty minutes.
Why we keep it small
It would be easy to bolt on a dozen extra features, a login system and a pile of ads. We decided against it. A tool that does one thing quickly is easier to keep working, easier to keep safe, and kinder to your phone's battery. When we add something, it has to earn its place by helping real people finish a real job.
